[looks straight faced for a moment before laughing] Aw, bless, you are cute when you’re confused! I was just yanking your chain, chief. No feeds in the showers.
…alrighty then.
commanderemelineshepard asked: [[ Not being a competent pilot. Losing his competency. ]]
((Once again, that would definitely be a worst-case scenario for Steve. He loves flying, and being told that he could no longer do it would just devastate him. I mean, the way I see it it was what he wanted to do when he was just a kid. To finally attain your dream and then lose it? Oh yeah, that’s awful.))
gabbyshepard-deactivated2012102 asked: ((A fear of not being able to 'see' in any situation - either by being in the dark, somehow having an injury to his eyes, or even extending to losing telemetry in whatever ship/shuttle he's piloting.))
((Absolutely. If he’s flying and suddenly loses the ability to see (because of some kind of machinery failure or whatever), it’s gonna scare the ever-loving shit out of him because everyone in that shuttle is his responsibility, and now it’s even more difficult than usual to keep them safe.
And an eye injury? Assuming it would be bad enough to where Mass Effect medicine can’t fix it, then that’s losing the ability to fly. That’s his whole life, it’s pretty much his purpose. So I would definitely chalk that up as a fear.
As for a fear of the dark, I don’t think so. Unless he’s with somebody else and he can’t see them, then yes. He likes being able to keep track of people.))
